Hello all I am looking for a speech therapist in the Homewood/Flossmoor area that specializes in children that need assistance in receptive as well as expressive language. He receives speech therapy at school I would like him to receive it privately as well as it is covered through our Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.
Thank you

Mom,
Ck on Craigslist under jobs in your area, often here they have lots of listings on all types of jobs by region. Have you also checked with the local school district, they may have something too. Good luck to you.

Contact your school district. They will evaluate your child & provide speech therapy if necessary. This is free....well paid with your tax dollars.

It is true that your school therapist could provide you with some private clinics. Renee Matlock's Speech Plus is in Frankfort (http://www.speechplus.org/) and is widely recommended. Kids Can Do (www.kidscando.org) is also a popular choice in our area. It is in Mokena. Not sure if those are close enough to Homewood, but thought you might want to look into them!
