J.A.
I have two girls, one was a spitter and the other not. The spitter spit what seemed like forever, but it really was by the end of the first year and really tapered off around 9-10 months. I thought when she was new she has mspi, but it turned out she was just a spitter and I was a first time mom. I stopped thinking about it and soon it passed. She was always a pretty happy baby, especially since I nursed her long term. Are you nursing, supplementing? Breast milk seems to have the least amount of stress on their digestion, so if you are nursing, lean to the breast milk as much as possible and less formula or other foods as long as possible. She will eat solid foods, (that tend to be highly processed, it is hard to avoid) for the rest of her life. Enjoy this fleeting stage and keep a burp rag handy!
Congrats on you little one,
J.
