Hi K.!!! I'm going to tell you what I just had to experience this week:
Last week (wednesday 05-09-07) I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant with my 3dr child. The week before that I realized I was spotting (week No. 4) but since I did not know I was pregnant I did not think too much about it.
Last friday (05-11-07) I saw my OB just to make sure everything was fine, and he told me to stop taking my medicine for high blood presure which I did.
Sunday night (mother's day) I started to cramp, but nothing really important as far as the pain level.
Monday morning (05-14-07) around 7:00 am I started to feel bad (cramping again) and at 9:00 am I started to bleed (just like a period) my husband took me to the ER.....and the result of all that is that I lost the baby.
All I can tell you is make sure you tell your Dr. everything as far as pain level, or anything you are feeling and think he should now.
I did not think the spotting was important (of course I had no idea I was pregnat) but today I wish I knew about it, because I did a lot of activities, I did travel as well...I did not slow down AT ALL!!! so relax if you can, and TALK TO YOUR DR.
I was not sure about telling you what just happened (sp?) to me this week....I do not want you to be scared....but I feel it is VERY IMPORTANT SOME TIMES TO SLOW DOWN, and I wanted to shared that with you. Everybody is different, and each pregnacy is different as well, so just keep that in mind.
In my case I do not know if my high blood pressure had something to do with the miscarried (sp again!!!)...since I did not have that problem with my other 2 pregnancies.
I wish you and your family THE BEST :) and remember to see your Dr. as soon as possible.
Marisela
