You might want to try a little D. dish soap in with it.The dish soap helps remove grease & oils from the items. It's a cheap & easy thing to try.
Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to remove the stain of Aquafor from sheets? We use that on our daughter at night and have some smudge marks on the sheets that won't come out in regular wash since it is a petroleum (sp)? base. Thanks in advance for any insight.

There is a laundry soap from a company called Fels Naptha (sp?) and you can get it at Dominicks or Target. It is a bar and it comes in an old-fashioned looking paper wrapper. It is awesome. It is our family's stain fighting secret. For really bad stains, I use it with a mushroom brush (it has soft bristles and won't make fabrics pill). Wet the stain, work some soap in until it lathers well, let it sit overnight and then wash. It works for so many other stains, too. Good luck!
Gojo hand cleaner, sold everywhere in car cleaning isle. Takes the grease off mechanics hands why not clothes. My mother in law turned me onto this and it works great.
try dish soap...like dawn...or shampoo...put it on the spot and maybe scrub it in a little w/ an old toothbrush or something. shampoo almost always works for me on greasy spots.
dawn dish soap. Like the commercial says "it takes grease out of your way" We used it on her clothes, sheets, our clothes. I would just use a double rinse cycle after using it. Good luck!
I use this amazing spot remover it is all natural! In fact all of the cleaning products we are using right now are all natural. I think for all families it's very important to use products that are totally safe and natural!
I use it on my little guy as he has exzema-actually the dr told us to make him shinny with it so that his skin can stay clear. This happens all the time to us. I swear by shout stain remover and actually they have the advanced kind too. Aquphor is always on his clothes from us putting it on his face. I spray it on and rub it in and it always comes out.
dish soap is definitely a great idea - that's what I do as well.
For anything petroleum based, I use Lestoil.
I have found that the OXY stain remover for laundry is great even on stains that have been washed and dried! I am not sure about Aquafor but I have used that product with my own kids and do not remember it being too tough to get out.
I would soak it in dishwashing soap as well. However make sure you rinse the item well after soaking. If too much dish soap get in the washer (especially if it is a front loader) your laundry room will end up looking like a tv sitcom, i.e. suds coming out of your washer!
