I hope someone has a great way to clean plastic urine stained potty chair. I've been putting a little water to sit after each use, but it's not doing anything, neither is soap and water. Thanks for help.

What can I do next?

I had the same problem and I found that a little white distilled vinegar worked for slight stains and for deeper stains a bleach gel or comet can work too.

I don't do for sure if this would work but there is this all natural Laundry Booster that can be used for all sorts of household cleaning..its called 20 Mule Team Borax..you shouldn't have any trouble finding it, I think they even have it at places like Price Chopper..it would be worth trying before you went to bleach..if it doesn't work for the potty chair you can use it in the laundry in any case.

Baking soda slightly dampened will take the stain out of anything.

I have found that clorox clean up and soft scrub with bleach work well on almost all stains I have used them on. Make sure if you use soft scrub though you rinse it extremely well.

I agree that bleach would most likely remove the stain...especially if you allow it to sit for a bit. BUT if you use bleach, be sure to rinse REALLY REALLY well. The ammonia in urine could react badly with the bleach. Bleach and ammonia make a toxic gas that could seriously harm your child.

Maybe try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser?

I haven't cleaned urine up yet, but you could try Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. They look like white sponges (they come in boxes of 2 or 4)and they are in the cleaning supply aisle. They get everything out!

Try Bleach and water mixture after the potty seat has been used.

I used to put a little clorox toilet bowl cleaner in my son's potty once a week and it cleaned it right up.

Try filling it with water and add a little bleach to soak overnight

Maybe a little bleach on a washcloth or paper towel left to sit on the spot would work.

I have found the easiest way to clean plastic like that with bleach. High concentrated soak for a few days....even submerged in a larger bucket....and always keep water in the pot as a dilute just like a regular toilet. IT helps...Good Luck!
