on ebay - you get 50 listings per month free - however, you have to pay a final value fee (FVF) for the listing - which is 9%.

To receive money via paypal for the listing, you are also charged an incoming fee based on the percentage of the funds being transferred.

I would see if there is anything else like what you have being sold on ebay and then do an "advanced search" to see what has sold and what it went for before opening up a "store" on ebay.

A "store" on ebay is $15.00 a month in fees. You get a tad bit more views but not enough to warrant the fees. unless of course you become a power seller selling more than $1,000 per month for 3 consecutive months. Then it's a race to keep that "status".

I can tell you that spelling is VERY important on ebay. if you do not have your title line spelled right, it will not get the viewings that you want and need to sell.

Selling on ebay can be a great experience.
Don't go in expecting to make a million.
Don't forget to package your items nicely.
Don't forget your packing slip (you can print it out when you print out your postage label)
Don't forget to communicate with the buyer - letting them know it's on the way.
Don't forget to ship fast. If you offer free shipping - your ratings are better. So take that into account when listing an item.
Ensure you are giving information on the product, NWT (new with tags), measurements, etc. so people don't need to ask questions but just place bids or buy it now.
Know the abbreviations...NWT, NWOT, NRFP, BIN, FS (new with tags, new without tags, never removed from package, buy it now, free shipping)
Know your audience.

GOOD LUCK!!!

eBay is not free, they take a percentage of every sale, as does PayPal.

BUT, that's still probably your best options for sales, if you don't want to invest in building your own online store.

Like Kate B. said Ebay isn't free. Like with any business you will want to check out your competition. Are any other sellers offering bodyshapers on ebay. What is the quality and price of their item verses yours.

If you want to go online and sell items you may be better served setting up your own website and connecting with Paypal for payments. There are many ways to have a successful business but you will need to do your own diligence and hard work. Think marketing, marketing, marketing. You will need loads of traffic of people looking for you product. I hope this helps.
