Do you chart your cycles? I used fertilityfriend.com to ensure that I was ovulating by tracking basal body temperature. The site is very easy to use and explains everything. Best of luck!!
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant with our second child for 14 months with no luck. I had an I.U.D. after my son was born and had it removed with no complications. However we cannot figure out why were not getting pregnant. I've tried everything, and now am seeing help from fellow moms before resorting to my Dr again. All suggestions welcome, thanx for you help.

Yes, if you're not already charting your fertility signs absolutely start there. I would start by getting this book, a digital basal thermometer, and signing up for a fertilityfriend.com account.
If it's an issue of timing this will show you what you should be doing, and if there's a hormonal issue at play you might be able to begin to identify it more specifically yourself using these sources so that if you do need to see a fertility specialist you can cut to the chase.

Good Luck!!!
I agree with tracking your temp and using fertilityfriend.com. To make it accurate, though, you MUST take your temperature and EXACTLY the same time every day (I set an alarm clock for slightly earlier than I would normally wake up) and make sure you have been lying down for at least 2 hours before (no potty breaks). If you are not precise, the numbers will be all over the place and will not be helpful at all. I learned that the hard way, but just happened to get pregnant that month anyway. Funny how that works! =)
You got some good suggestion and resources. I would also like to add the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. My husband and I tried for over 6 mo before I broke down and bought one. I was skeptical that it would work, but they are awesome! I think it said in the directions, there was only one week out of the month that you can get pg. Someone told me that many years ago too. The monitor will tell you exactly when you are ovulating, and you only have intercourse on those days.
