I've been reading up a storm about pregnancy and what to expect in the first year. I want my husband to read some too about what to expect, but he's not really interested in reading The Girlfriend's Guide with me, lol. Any suggestions of books that would be geared a bit toward being a new daddy?

Thanks!!

"Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads" is an amazing book ($10 at amazon.com). It is funny and useful. For example, the book starts out with a sketch of a pretty baby; I jokingly states that Dads should expect the kids to look like that right away. Other tips include packing away a dirty diaper, how to treat gas, what to do when the baby pees in the tub, and how to make mom happy.

My husband bought himself the Caveman's Guide to the First Year of Life (or something like that) it was cute, and educational.

The Expectant Father is the best book, in my opinion. I read it after my husband finished it when I was pregnant with our first child, and now we buy it for all our first-time-dad friends.

Be Prepared The Practical Dad's Guide to Parenting - It's just like a boy scout handbook. My husband (& I) loved it! Definitely the best book I've found for dads.

We had a good "birth partner" book. I can't remember which one, but that is a good search term. Honestly, I think it makes more sense for him to learn about parenting than pregnancy. Try "How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk."
