Suggestions for a Good Pediatrician

I'm not sure what part of St Louis you live in, but I live in U City & my 2 year old daughter goes to the Children's Clinic in Clayton. They have about 5 doctor's but we see Christopher Molitor. Their number is ###-###-#### & their address is 8888 Ladue Road (zip 63124). We really like them for numerous reasons (separate sick kid enterance; always can get appointments) & many families we know are just as happy. You should check them out!

My daughter's pediatrician is Dr. Patricia Amato and she's located in the Crestwood area. She's very personable and great with kids!! My OB's nurse practitioner highly recommended her to me!! I also highly recommend her to anyone!! There are several doctors in the office chose from also. Everyone that works there from doctors, to nurses to the medical office staff are so nice and helpful!! The address and info are:

We go to Metropolitan Pediatrics (Dr. Diehl, who I believe only takes newborns as new patients) and we have been very happy with them. There are 5 ped's in the practice and I've met all of them. They're right near 270 and 44. ###-###-####. I would highly recommend!!!

Also, there is a new issue of StLouis Magazine out now with a list of 2009 Best Doctors (includes ped's.) I saw it at the grocery store last night. Here is the website for the magazine, but the article won't be on there until the hard copy is off news stands. I've used the Best Doc list before and was happy with it.

When I was pregnant with my first daughter 14 years ago, I actually "shopped" for a pediatrician upon the advice of friends. I only interviewed two doctors, and immediately chose Dr. Patricia Wolff at Forest Park Pediatrics. She is still there and one of the doctors on St. Louis' best doctors list. She answers questions and is very open to discussions, and I trust her expertise highly. Actually, I would recommend all the pediatricians at Forest Park Pediatrics. They are located at 4488 Forest Park, a block east of the B-J complex, phone # ###-###-####. We also have seen many times Dr. Paul Simons, Dr. Epstein, Dr. Ruby-Ziegler, Dr. Schmandt (there are other doctors, too). All are great with kids, and I have felt very comfortable with the treatment and expertise there. Not to mention that the St. Louis Children's Hospital is just a couple of blocks from there - convenient for tests/x-rays/procedures. Good luck!

St. Louis Pediatrics Associates are very good. I changed to them when my daughter was 9 months old since I was not happy with my other pediatrician. We see Dr. Mckinney and he is very good. My daughter loves him. He actually interacts with her while examining her besides just coming in holder her down and then leaving.

If you are in the South County area, Preferred Pediatrics is wonderful. We use Dr. Christopher Wilson and really like him.
