Suggestions Regarding a Good Diaper Bag

I am looking for a good quality diaper bag. Ideally, I want something that includes a smaller purse/wristlet so I can carry one bag and/or just take out the purse/wristlet when my husband has the bag. I am a total minimalist so I don't want anything big or bulky and I don't carry a lot of stuff. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I'm going with the other mom's who use a backpack. That was one of the best things that I have ever done, I started using one when my twins were moving around more.

The best diaper bag I have found is a backpack. I have a wallet that has a pocket for my cell phone so I can just grab that and go when necessary.

Hi K.
I dont have a good diaper bag. but what I did was bought a checkbook wallet that had credit card slots and a cash slot and would just put that in the diaper bag

I found so many diaper bags that I couldn't choose between at Target. And if you want something really sturdy and 'manly' for when your husband carries it, try Jeep.com. I bought a Jeep brand diaper bag from their website and just loved it! It was big, but not huge and my husband was happy that it was something he didn't mind carrying!

I have a KEEN diaper bag and love it. It is a sleek design that is spacous but not bulky. It has a big open pocket on the inside with a light that turns on when you open it (goes off when you close it) and a zipped pocket and slot pocket on the outside plus a bottle/cup holder.

When my dd was a little baby I didn't carry much around just diapers and wipes, maybe a change of clothes, but from 9 - 18 months I needed extra stuff: food, snacks, clothes, wipes, diapers, drinks, first aid kit.....

Diaper bags are very personal just like purses. It is hard to recommend one because everyone feels differently about each one. I personally started with a diaper bag when my son was in his portable infant car seat... but as soon as he was in his toddler car seat, carrying him, as well as a bag just wasn't working for me [even though my son was walking at 8 months, obviously he did not go where I wanted him to! And he refused, and sometimes still refuses, to hold my hand so I had to carry him a lot. Not to mention dipping and struggling to get out of my arms when I carried him]. Now I use a good old fashioned backpack for everything my son needs. I don't care one bit what people think about it, because most of the time I need both hands. And why go out and buy a new "diaper backpack" when I already have one that I used in school? I usually put my regular purse inside the backpack. I purposely chose a purse that has a long strap, so that I can put it over my neck if I need to. And for now I have no intention of getting rid of the backpack. Holding a purse in one hand or trying to keep a purse on my shoulder while I have a toddler struggling to get out of my arms does not work very well

JuJuBe diaper bags are great. They are a bit more expensive but I really like mine. It is a small backpack style but also stays comfortably on one shoulder if you don't want to wear it as a backpack and it doesn't really look like a diaper bag. People often comment on what a nice bag it is when I am out and about.
