In the theater - HUGO!!! Opened in the theater today. The Muppets would be great too, but Hugo is very visually stimulating, and from an amazing book.
We took my 10 year old to see Thor after checking it out to make sure it was appropriate. Super 8, Iron Man and some of the other super hero movies however do not seem to be appropriate for this age group but you be the judge. We did also enjoy How to Train Your Dragon. I'm finding that it's great to revisit classics that I watched as a kid too like the original karate kid, the original star wars, the dark crystal, etc. great stuff for family movie nights.
