check out nature centers in your area. I don't know where you are located but I know that Rye Nature Center has classes and so does Alley Pond Park in Queens.
Hi Moms!
I have been taking my son to Music Together and Tumblebee for 2 years now and I am looking for something different to do with him this summer. I don't have a pool I can go to so that is not an option. I also have an infant so it has to be something we can do that I can bring her as well. Any ideas would be very much appreciated!!

Hi S.,
If you have a Y or a gym nearby, look into a summer membership. These places may have activities for kids and may have outside pool areas. Our town also has a lake that you can join, check with you town's rec department to see about summer activities. We also buy season passes to the water park about 25 minutes away.
You could also check to see if any local nursery schools offer preschool camp.
Good luck!
Parks for sure. You can hang out with your infant in a sling while your son runs around, makes friends, and enjoys the beautiful summer days.
Picnics are also fun. There are gardens and things with huge fields that are good for burning energy, and you can relax on a blanket while your son runs and plays! Plus, food eaten outside from a picnic basket is much more appealing :]
Some of the local park centers have toddler craft days. You can join your son for hikes and learn about nature, or do small toddler friendly crafts.
Go to the airport and watch planes take off
Start a small garden that your toddler can take over and get creative with!
Do you have any local parks? My sons could spend hours there and it is also a good place to meet up with other moms!
check with your local library...
