My daughter goes to a friends party at Independence grove beach. THey have been doing it since she was 5 and they re 8 now. 10 kids and some moms dtay and she has her husband and mom and sister stay too. they get the umbrella reserved and it is reallyfun for them to al be together.
You could always do the mundelein spray park, it is cheep and perfect for that age and I a msure most moms will stay. Another friend did that and she made it a pirate theme and the kds found trasures in the sand, she hid coins she got a twalmart and little treasure boxes and if y ou found one of the five boxes you got a prize and they put all these things in a cute pirate gold carrying bag, etc the ideas are endless and of course goodie bags for the beach one was a bucket and shovel with candy and beach ball etc.

Both of my children have summer birthdays and we always have a blast. Rent one of those Moon Bounce/ Bounce House and have a back yard BBQ. The kids will have a blast jumping around for hours and you can grill up some burgers/dogs. Keep it simple :)

Hi R.,
I have a Children's party business; Have a Bashery and we bring parties to you! I think my favorite for 3 year olds is a Fluff-N-Stuff Workshop. We bring a huge variety of unstufffed animals for all your yourng guests to make. After a short introduction where the kids get to see all of the animals, everyone gets to pick and then, out comes the fluff! We hand stuff them, put a magic wish star inside, then zip them up. You can add on little tees or clothes - its better than going to the store! The kids can color the take home bag, we fill out birth certificates, and I like to do a story. The whole program runs an hour and 15 minutes and contains your entertainment and your goodie bag. All we need is floor space so it works great in your home. If you would prefer it not to be in your home, a it can be out in a park, a restaurant, or at a rented space. Let me know if I can help - check out haveabashery.com or email me at ____@____.com luck!!

You can take them to a kids' concert at Ravinia. You can get 10 lawn admissions on a punch pass for kids' concerts for $24 (good for kids or adults). Then bring your own picnic, cupcakes, balloons. (I work there and think it's a great deal.)
