Water Babies by Coppertone is a good brand to use. Anything above SPF 30 is good. After you get above SPF 30 it doesn't matter, even though it says SPF 50 it doesn't protect any more than SPF 30. I like the spray on sunblocks for the body, and then a cream sunblock for their face.

My son couldn't use sun block because he turned red and cryed and said it burned when you put it on him. I meet a lady that sells Arbonne and they carry a line for babies. I love their sun block. We used it last summer and no reaction and no sun burn. Without pulling out the bottle I think it is a spf of 35.

First, you need to seek professional counseling to deal with the loss of your son. It has to be hard to lose a child, but you have to deal with it in a positive way so your depression will not effect your daughter and others. Find other mothers who have been in a similar situation as well and talk to them. Second, if you NEVER allow anyone else to keep your daughter you are doing harm to both you and her. First, EVERY mother needs a break!!!! Even if it's just long enough for you run some errands, go get a manicure/pedicure/massage etc, go have coffee with a friend, or time to take a nap. With two blinks of an eye it will be time for her to start school, then what??? The time spent away now could be well worth the seperation later. .... Now, onto the sunscreen... read the bottle... get something approved for kids her age, get the highest spf you can find that is water resistant, etc... depending on your needs. Good Luck! I am more worried about your mental health than you letting your child sunburn.

Banana Boat BABY spf 50. It's tear free and "as mild as water". My daughter was born at the end of march and I was using it on her when she was 2 months old. It is great

I use coppertone with my son who is now 3 and it works great spf 45. He is really son sensitive so this is great for him and he does not seem to mind but he really likes the spray and it gets everywhere but, I believe your baby is too small for this. Hopes this helps.

I think the best sunscreen for babies and toddlers is Coppertone Water Babies. I have used it for years and never hava a problem with my children getting sunburnt when it is on. I use SPF 50, the higher the better.

Dear Ashley,

Hi! First, I'd like to say that I am very sorry for your loss. I completely understand your feelings about wanting to be with your little girl, although I won't pretend to know what its like to lose a baby. You have all my sympathies and best wishes to you and your family. I am a SAHM becaue I feel the same way about my two children. I could never bear the thought of leaving them in someone else's care.

As far as what sunscreen to use, I recommend and buy Arbonne's Baby care products for everyone I know who has a baby, or even people who have dry, itchy skin, or are prone to rashes. I believe it is the VERY BEST baby care products on the market today. The Herbal Diaper Rash Cream was recently featured in this month's issue of Pregnancy magazine! I do sell these products, BUT I only decided to sell them once I had purchased them myself and saw how WONDERFUL these products are. They can't be purchased anywhere else! That's another reason why I wanted to start selling them. They are the most natural, botanically and herbally based products and contain no animal products or biproducts which is good for us, the environment and animals! :-)

You can read about the products here: https://www.arbonne.com/products/baby/sunscreen.asp

and if you decide you want to purchase them, please email me for specials we have, or just click here to order: https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/healthy4ever.nsf/p1/...

For our entire product line and more information about the company you can visit my website: www.healthy4ever.myarbonne.com

I wish you many, many blessings to you and your new daughter!!!

The higher the spf the better, especialy for infants and very young children. Try the Avon sunblock, I used to sell it and I used it on my daughter. Or you can try Water Babies, I think it is water-proof and it works very well.

Ashley,

I sell AVON and since my daughter was born almost 5 years ago, I have used AVON Sun Disappearing Color Sunscreen Lotion with SPF 40. We lived in Florida for the first few years of her life where the sun is brutal and she has never had a sunburn. If you are interested in purchasing, talk to your Avon representative or go to my website and search for the product. My site is www.youravon.com/tcorley. You are about 5 hours from me so personal delivery would not work. You could have the order shipped directly to you if you decide to order.

I also use Coppertone Water Babies SPF 50. I have also used Avon's and Banana Boat but I am allergic to Banana Boat's scent, it makes me sneeze. Make sure you use one that is paba free and the higher the SPF the better. Also, don't forget to reapply as directed on the bottle, if you forget they will get burned.
