All formula here is FDA regulated, so it's all the same.
At 13mos, her little digestive system is doing just fine, so a direct switch won't affect her.

(I've switched my kids at 6mos to cheap brands. No issues at that point.)

She may balk at the taste, if she's picky. But healthwise, there's no reason to not make a cold switch.
PS: my kids were off formula completely at 1yr. The doc had me put them on whole milk, instead.

Does your doctor think she still needs formula, because we generally go on to regular milk when they turn 1? If you do still need to or want to keep using formula, we've switched formulas without any problem. It'll be ok :)
She might not like it, but it won't hurt her. Did the doctor recommend a certain brand? We've used Enfamil and Similac without an problems. They both have toddler formulas too. Enfamil's is called Enfagrow, and is for babies 10 to 36mo.

I would gradually switch. I know most doctors say you can go cold turkey and just switch, but like you said it maybe a big adjustment for her. I would try 1/4 new 3/4 old for a few days then 1/2 and 1/2 the 3/4 new and 1/4 old then all new. Watch to make sure she doesn't get an upset belly or constipated.

Enfamil has a product now called Enfagrow for toddlers. I am using it for my son and I think it is really good. If you are hesitant to do a a complete switch over from formula to milk. Look at this product and see if it might work for you.

We normally switch to milk at a year old.

You can just switch.
If a child has a hard time, it is usually due to taste.

But at her age, as far as the USA.... from 1 year old a child can have whole milk. Organic is best. They need the 'milk fats' in whole milk, because it is an important nutrient, for brain growth.

My friend had formula from Europe. That is where she is from. And she also used Formula from the USA. It was perfectly fine.
Europe has good products too.

Is there a reason your child is still on Formula?

I think you are fine to switch....most baby's adjust just fine. Consider using an off brand. This is what our doc recomended. Compare the cans of the name brand and off brand. The ingredients are usually identical and you will save a LOT of money!!

We normally switch off of formula to whole milk at the age of 12 months here, so you may want to just scratch the formula bit altogether. Good luck!
