What about using a performance bar that prevents lactic acid formation (it is the lactic acid that gives you the muscle ache that you may have a few hours later or the next day if it is a challenging work out; I use "Access Bar" 20 minutes before working out, on an empty stomach and it works so well; in winter, I use it before shoveling!!! I will be happy to give you one, if you want. my favorite one tastes like a sneakers bar type; sometimes I use a choc mint one; I think that jogging in the presence of your child has many advantages: there is a message that you take care of yourself and at the same time spend quality time together.
