The strips work well but I personally prefer plain old baking soda and peroxcide. Once a week, I dip my toothbrush in peroxcide and then in baking soda and brush. It whitens instantly. :)
Hello Mothers, My problem is I have a little staining on my front teeth. My dentist told me it isn't bad at all. But i of course don't like it. He offered the professional whiting there, but said its costly and doesn't think i really need it. He recommended the over the counter Crest Advance whiting strip and said I should see good results. My question is has anyone had good results with any of the strips or trays you can buy in the store. I seen the new Crest Advance Seal and the Aquafresh whitetrays and I know theres a Colgate one also. I look forward to hearing what the Moms have to say. THANKS

I think the Crest whitening strips work well. I have even used the Walgreens brand and that seemed to work good too. I got mine on sale, so decided to try them. I liked how the Walgreens brand adheres to your teeth better.
ditto on the crest white strips. I saw my dentist, and he commented on how great my teeth looked, and asked what I had done. When i mentioned the crest strips, he said, yeah, those are the only ones out there that actually work.
They can make your teeth a bit sensitive, but that goes away.
I use the Crest Whitening Strips and so do two of my children. I always get comments on how white my teeth look and people want to know how I get them so white and keep them white. My children have dazzling white teeth. I first used the Crest Whitening Strips years ago when they were new on the market and expensive but considerably less than at the dentist office. My first year, I did two treatments, six months apart and after that I only use them every 12-18 months and the whitening lasts. I don't drink coffee. I drink tea occasionally and I eat fruits that stain; cherries, blueberries, etc. and my teeth still stay white with regular daily brushings, flossings, and 6 month dental cleanings. My dentist even asks me if I use a tooth whitening kit at home because my teeth are so white and I tell him I use Crest Whitening Strips. My teeth do not get sensitive to the whitening treatment either. Hope this helps.

The Crest White Strips work great! My dentist recommended them as well. Good luck!

I think I'm an exception to the rest of the posts because I didn't really care for the Crest White Strips. I didn't see that good of results. Professional whitining is more expensive but I believe it is well worth it. The trays mold to your teeth perfectly and the dentist uses Rx strengh whitining gel for a lasting smile!
Try the drest white strips. They work great.
I used the crest strips before I ever did the professional whitening and they worked great. I have since tried the trays from my dentist and I do notlike them at all. I feel like I get way better results from the Crest strips. They seem to be a little easier to use also. The trays are supposed to stay in for a long time and the strips are only a few minutes twice a day. I really think you will like them and see great results. I am actually getting ready to purchase them again.
