Any suggestions as to what to do to help my son from drooling everywhere? He is in the beginning stages of teething. Drool falls out of his mouth! Is it just something I have to handle?
We have decided to put outfit coordinating bibs on our little man through his teething process. There really is not much more to do. As for any pain he has, we will use the advised teething tablets and OraJel. Thank you to all the mommies for your advice and support!
My son is 5 1/2 months old, and he's a huge drooler.
We have tons of small cloth bibs, and he wears those much of the time.
There is little you can do about the drool except keep bibs, towels, and extra changes of clothes nearby.
If his teeth or gums are bothering him, try some Hyland's Teething Tablets. They're a lot more effective than Ora-jel. They can be found at Whole Foods and People's Pharmacy.
It is just something that you have to deal with. My son is 17 months and still drools when he teeth's....every child does it.
Put a bib on him and deal with it. Wish there was something easier but I don't know of anything.
My two kids went thru the same thing when they started teething. I used teething tablets and they really helped.
I can't remember the brand of the tablets, but I used to get
them at Whole Foods. I hope this helps.
I too have a drooler...Get some cute bibs and deal with it is my only suggestion! She spent the 1st 9 months of her life in a wet t-shirt!!
