Teething/Chew Toys

The bag of rattles and other baby toys from my #1 has disappeared. So I want to purchase a few good toys for my daughter (3.5 months) now that she's starting to grab at stuff and pull to her mouth. What would you recommend? And is Sophie the Giraffe really all she's cracked up to be? :)

What can I do next?

I love the toys made by Chicco and the balls that you can squish but are hollow---sorry don't know the name. But they have them at Target for like 8 bucks. I also love the keys and other water-filled teethers. Good luck!

My son loved those foam bathtub letters - He could bite them, hold them, but they woudn't tear. Sophie the Giraffe - I did't get one for my son, but quite honestly, I think they look and sound just like a doggy toy. So no, I wouldn't buy it for my child!

My son loved the black and white part of this toy http://www.amazon.com/Sassy-Ring-Links-Rattle-Development... The black part was kinda rubbery

My daughter did not care for Sophie much at all. She really liked a toy I have from Discovery Toys called Super Yummy. It has five different textures so it feels good on their games, and a light vanilla scent to calm and soothe them. It can be put in the freezer. We also have great linking rings so I could attach it to her stroller, car seat, etc and not worry about it falling on the ground (which happened a lot with Sophie).
