A mom I know from ECFE, she makes really beautiful, fun, yummy cakes - and she'll deliver to you!
I am looking for a place in Minneapolis that makes custom birthday cakes for boys and girls??

I agree with Sandra, Queen of cakes is soooo good! I always bring in the kids invitation and then talk about what I would like the cake to look like. They have always turned out great and I have never been disapointed! They also have all types of yummy fillings to choose from! They also have a web site:
Queen of Cakes in Edina is the best! They can not do licensed characters, but they have made some awesome cakes for us.
I have used The Roseville Bakery many times, they have delicious cakes and even did a custom cake decoration based on a photograph I had of my husband's aerobatic plane. It was awesome!
Wuollets does somewhat custom cakes. There is a place in Edina that can do REALLY custom cakes, called the Queen of Cakes. Wuillets is very close to my house (the one on 50th/Drew) so if you want to meet another Mpls mom and family, send me an email and maybe we can meet at Wuollets for a cookie and go to the park that is a block away and the kids can play. Beki Cook is independent and does an incredible job - email: ____@____.com
Byerly's makes really awesome themed cakes. And they are delicious. They have a book you can page through with all their different themes. Maybe it's online too, not sure. Good luck!
Welcome to Mpls! The best tasting cakes come from Wuollet's Bakery. There are a few around. The one we use is off of 50th Street between Xerxes Ave S and France Ave S.
If you want good taste, but, a cheaper price, Cub or Rainbow. Even Sam's Club in Bloomington has great buttercream cakes!
