Tired of Being Bored.

hi I feel the same way, I am often bored as well, I live in gardner KS where do you live? maybe we can get something started I am constantly looking for things to do!!

Check out MOPS - Mothers of Pre-Schoolers. They're a big organization with groups that meet all over. Usually twice a month, officially. Many Moms arrange play dates and activites in addition to their group get-togethers.

I am with you. I would love to meet with other moms around here, I just moved here from California and I know nobody at all! I have two little girls Ruthie 3 1/2 and Abbie 19 months. I am due to have my third sometime around August/September? My only problem about getting together would be that we only have one car right now so that makes it difficult for me to go places. My girls need interaction with others besides just them, my husband usually has mondays off so I might be able to do something then? Let me know if your still interested.

My boys and I (I have 3!) like to go to the Matt Ross Community Center. They love the pool, but it's $7/ person if you're not a member. The indoor play area (like McDonalds, but clean), however, is free. It's at 80th and Metcalf if you'd ever like to come along with us!

PS-I love that your girl's nick-names are cute and "now," but their full names are more unique. (I have Harper, Rhett, and Ambrose.)

I was a stay at home mom when I first moved to KC from Michigan several years ago. There is a group called Mothers & More that you should check out. They were a life savor for me. They offer playgroups 4-5 days a week as well as "Mom only" activities in the evenings, which is also a great getaway from the everyday grind. We have something going on in the evening every Tuesday night as well as other nights throughout the month (you don't have to attend everything, you can pick and choose what interests you).
