I am looking for something for my 19 month old daughter to do such as swim, dance, or gymnastic classes in the sterling heights area. does anyone have any suggestions?
You might also try surrounding parks & recreation departments - Warren has a lot of stuff (and a nice facility - I've been teaching singing there this fall).
Rochester Community Schools has a ton of stuff too, which might not be too far for you. Many schools do "enrichment" or contiuing education type stuff like this.
Chippewa Valley High School offers swim classes, Cutting Edge Athletics at Hall Rd and Groesbeck offers Tumble Tots, and Total Soccer at 14 and Utica offers Soccer Tots.
Check out Sterling Heights Parks and Recreation programs. They are great for toddlers. In November they are registering for the winter sessions of tumbling, dance and parent tot classes. Look for the sterling heights magazine in your mailbox or check out their website. My daughter has done several of their programs for Toddlers and loves it.
sterling heights parks and rec has classes for toddler.. they are just about over for this session but will start again.. maybe not till after christmas.. not sure of the timing (it seems like all the classes start mid sept for 8 week - ending in mid november- then there is a break until after christmas)
troy gymnastics has mom and tot classes.
warren gymnastis has mom and tot classes.
gymboree has classes for little ones..
Kindermusik has wonderful classes for kids ages birth to 7.
check out the parks and rec book for your city and go online to look at the parks and rec classes in other areas..
