Looking to join/start a toddler playgroup in the lakeview area. I am a full time nanny of a 7 month old girl, and a mommy to a great 16 month old boy who needs to be around kids his own age more. I LOVE being able to stay home with my son, but I want him to be stimulated more also.
I am not a member of NPN, but would consider joining. I have seen them being the only answere to playgroup requests in the past. Mostly I am just looking for other stay at home mom's and/or nannies of toddlers in the area who want to get together once or twice a week to do things, zoo, museums, parks, indoors when weather isn't cooperative, etc.

I am a stay at home mom of a 16 month old boy as well. I've been looking to join a play group, but most of them are already full where I live, and new groups are starting for another couple months. I'd love to get the kids together. I am familiar with where you live. I own a condo, so it's not very big for having that many kids here. Let me know what you think.

I ended up going through NPN to get into a playgroup when I wasn't able to get consistent responses otherwise. I'm currently in a playgroup with mostly 2 year olds (my daughter is 2 1/2 years old). You're welcome to check out our group, though I don't know if it's the age group that you're looking for. I know that NPN just started a big playgroup section on its site, so it may be worth it if you don't have success elsewhere. Good luck!

I have an active 15-month old son and would love to find a playgroup for him. I would like to meet at a park or the zoo or somewhere he can be active. I recently met with some other moms in the library which didn't work for a little one who wants to move!
