A.,
Just wanted to chime in and say that airbeds are not safe for under-3's. Apparently there have been some tragic suffocations when they've been underinflated.
Stay safe,
J.
When traveling, My 17 month old daughter is too big and heavy to sleep comfortably in a pack'n play style portable crib. She's too little to sleep in a bed, too big and too wiggly to sleep with us. She's a pretty sensitive little girl, who feels safe in her crib at home and sleeps well there. When she doesn't feel good/safe she is NOT a good sleeper.
Any suggestions or recommendations on toddler travel beds/cribs would be really appreciated.
Thank you very much!

I have a Phil and Ted Travel Crib. It is fairly easy to set up once you get the hang of it. It is long and skinny and you can zipper the mesh top on to keep out bugs if you are outside. I've used it with my son until he was 2 1/2.
I'm sure someone will respond who actually has one, but I know there are Aerobed and similar inflatable beds for children that have raised sides and seem to be well liked for travel. I've been thinking of getting one for trips with our two year old.
Hi A. -
To revise my previous post to fit your question ;) One step ahead makes a kids travel bed that goes on the floor. Here is the web address that will take you directly to the page: http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId...
There is also an inflatable child travel bed in the same website, you can find that here:
