We send out Jake to Mesquite Pediatrics, same as Tracy F. My husband used Dr. Swanson when he was younger and now she cares for our son. All of her associates are excellent and meet our needs. Call ###-###-####, they are located on Gus Thomasson two blocks from Town East behind North Mesquite HS. Good luck and God bless your search.

Hi F.:

There is a wonderful pedi in Mesquite named Andrea Cramer. She's at Baylor Medical Plaza on Republic Pkwy. Her number is ###-###-####. We have seen her for our 21 month son with Down Syndrome, because she is a genetics specialist. She is also a regular pediatrician. I would switch all my children to her, except we live in Richardson, and it is a drive for me.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Regards,
K.

My daughter's doctor moved away when she was 4 months old so I understand what you're going through. The other doctors in her practice were full so I had to find another doctor quickly. I went to Dr. Stiles' office in Mesquite, which has been mentioned in another post and did not like it for two reasons: everyone sits together in the same cramped waiting room, sick and well babies, and the wait was always long when I went. As an example, once I took my daughter to a well baby visit and the only chair left to sit in was next to a obviously sick infant who was coughing a lot. We waited an hour to be seen, the man with the sick baby was waiting when I got there, and was still sitting there when we went back for out appointment. It was not uncommon to be at that office for 2 hours each time we went for a well baby. After the 3rd such experience, and one similar appointment when she just went to get a flu shot, I decided that was not the best for my baby! So I had to search again for another pedi. Luckily I found a great office! Its Rockwall Pediatrics at 2504 Ridge Rd. #102. Dr. Laura Chinn is excellent as is the Nurse Practitioner Charla Endris. Both ladies never seemed rushed, take the time to answer any and all questions you have, never make you feel like you are asking a silly question, and really seem to care about their patients. My daughter loves her new doctor and so do I. Although they do not have separate entrances for well and sick babies, sick babies are taken to a room right away that is reserved for sick babies, while the well babies wait in the waiting room. We have been to the office 4 times now for both sick and well visits, and I have never sat in the waiting room longer than 10 minutes. And on the visit when my daughter was sick, I didn't even have time to sit down before they called us back. Their phone number is ###-###-####. You can visit their website to get more information about their practice and the other Doctor and Nurse Practitioners in the practice at www.rockwallpediatrics.com. Good luck with your search for a new doctor!

Hi F.,

Like your name by the way. Very pretty. I have been using Dr. Stiles actually her doctors in her office like Dr. Jeanne Snow who is Excellent since Krista was born in 2003. I have seen a couple of other doctors in there when Dr. Snow is too busy. Here is there info. 1012 North Galloway, Suite 103, Mesquite, TX 75149. ###-###-####. They answer the phone as Rockwall Medical Association. Dr. Laura Stiles is the one who came to the hospital and checked Krista out once she was born. So I can vouch for all of their staff. You should use them for your daughter(s).

Hi, F., we use Dr. Andrea Cramer. She's located in the Baylor building off of I30 in Mesquite. We love her- and her nurse practitioner is awesome, as well. One thing, though- she does not beat around the bush. I have a co-worker who uses her and she thinks that she can be a bit rude sometimes, but I really like her approach. HTH!

We love Dr. Sonnen at Baylor Family Health Center near Galloway and Hwy 30. He is great with the kids and he is really to the point about their health. When my kids have been mildly sick, I've called his office for advice and gotten very quick responses. Also, (and this is cool) he always calls that afternoon or the next day to make sure they are doing better! I think he's been reviewed on here, but I'm not sure. The office number is ###-###-####

Dr. Bala, who is in the same office (I've heard)is great too because my cousins use her for their kids. However, do not use Dr. Lacey; seriously please do not. We saw Dr. Lacy once when our doctor was out of the office & he prescribed the wrong antibiotic for my infant! After I looked the prescription over, I realized it wasn't correct because of the large dosage and called the pharmacy. They said that the filled it exactly as it was written and the reason for the large dosage was because it was a child's formula not an infant one. When I called my doctor, he said not to give it to my baby and he sent out the correct one immediately. I don't want to bad mouth a doctor, but when it comes to prescribing babies medicine I think it's better to be safe than sorry.
