My husband was doing a diaper delivery to a new customer. He turned off their street at 7:01 and evidently entered a school zone in progress. The school was not in sight and the "supposed" sign was hidden behind palm fronds. He was doing 32 in a 30 zone so had it not been during the school zone, it wouldn't have been an issue. Anyway, he was hit with a $383 ticket and 4 points. He took pictures of the location and the motorcop said that he "nails" many many people a day in that spot. Does anyone know a lawyer or ticket defender that is reasonably priced?
Thank you for all the replies. I also posted with another group and 7 people recommended James Babkes in Plantation. His price was very reasonable and he seemed to think he can get it thrown out (or greatly reduced/no points, etc). We shall see what happens with the court date.

I think she charged about $100 but it was way better than paying the ticket and I had no points or traffic school. I really don't know how they do it, but it is so worth hiring a lawyer because they quickly and easily make these things disappear. Best wishes to you both....

You will be getting a ton of solicitations in the mail. This is what they do best. I've experienced the same thing where signs and things are hidden. If someone knows someone,great; if not, like I said, pick one out the mail. This is what they do for a living.
It's almost as if they leave the signs covered on perpose; so that they can collect revenue.
I used to know someone but I didn't like they handled a different case; they were great on tickets but not on
accidents. I don't want to mention their names.

look in the yelow pages ...but i think its called "ticket clinic" their fee is $70 ( i think) and my husband has gotten off with no points at least twice now using them.
