JC Penney's has some, Okie Dokie I think is the brand. Feet and mitten attached, very easy to get into.

All, I hate to bring it up, but with the snows we've had lately I need to get my 7 month old some cold weather attire. Can someone tell me where in the cities (preferrably west side - Plymouth, Maple Grove area)I can find snow suits (size 12 month)? So far I've been to Babies R Us, Target & Kohls and found NOTHING! A few jackets but no real snow suits. They plan on taking the kids out at daycare when it's not too cold and I need to have proper clothes for my boy.
I'm also looking for Car Carrier covers - the kind that just have the little peep hole for the baby to look out of and can't find them anywhere either. There were a few on-line at Target.com, but I'd like to see/feel it before buying. Any thoughts on where to find these as well would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

K.,
I would look at Once Upon A Child for snow suits. I can't speak for their MG location, but the Minnetonka location, by Toys R Us has a really good, clean selection. Also, when I read your post, I realized that I have a "like new" Wrap & Ride from my daughter, who was born in late fall. It is the kind that goes under the baby and allows the straps to poke through, then also encases the baby, like a blanket. It's all thick polar fleece in navy with grey interior. It is very easy to open and ultra warm. With this you don't have to have a snow suit, but if you did, you could just leave the flaps open. If you are interested, email me and I'll send you a photo. I live near 394 & 169.
Try Once Upon a Child- they may still have some.
I have a car carrier cover you can have if you want it. It is fleece and is light yellow with a celestial print on it. we live in Maple Grove. You can email me at ____@____.com if you are interested...
I buy a lot of my daughter's clothes at Target and Kohls, but I've bought her snowsuits through REI and they are SO warm and have lasted her two years each (and she is growing like crazy). They have adjustable legs and arms so they can add length for the second year. Yes, they cost more but have been absolutely worth it.
I would try going to the Just Between Friends sale at the golf dome (by Mills Fleet in Broklyn Park) this coming weekend. I am selling alot of stuff there and they have 560 people signed up to sell things as well. Sale is 22nd- 24th. jbfsale.com
We're in the same situation with my 9mo old. Problem is you don't want a puffy snow suit/jacket because you'll have to remove it before they get in their car seat for safety. We've ordered a warmer fleece (Columbia) jacket that has mitten cuffs from Amazon. Then our Bundle me car seat cover still fits on the conversion seat so we'll use that to add warmth in the car. We also got a regular winter coat for when we're going to be outside for a long time. Got it from Target but Old Navy also has good options. Good luck!
tj maxx and marshalls have winter gear, and keep going as their stock comes in 2 times a week
Last year when my son was younger we got his at Children's Place. I saw them again this year and they aren't too pricey. I would also recommend REI which is where we found his stuff this year. REI had some of the bodysuits which are nice at that age. As far as carrier covers, I had the JJ Cole original bundle me and LOVED it! I got it at Babies R Us. Craig's list is always a good option too but if you need something right away those would be your best options.
I saw some at JCPenney the other day. They were on sale, too.
I really like Sears actually, for the snowsuits--they're awesome, and not too pricey. And I just bought a used carseat cover for my infant son at Once Upon A Child in Maple Grove, and they had several to choose from.
Do you have a Burlington Coat Factory near you? They have a very large baby section and usually have some good stuff. Otherwise, try Once Upon A Child or TJ Maxx.
Good luck to you!
How about a consignment store or Once Upon a Child for snowsuits?
