You can track your temperature to figure out when you REALLY ovulate. There are sites like fertilityfriend.com that walk you through the process, and help you track and interpret the results.
Sometimes, even when your timing is just right, it can take a while. It took 9 months with my first pregnancy, 8 with the next two, and my last baby was a surprise.
I wouldn't worry about needing fertility testing or treatments until you, at the very least, track you temp for a few months. The doctor would most likely make you do that anyway.
