My husband and I are going to start TTC after having two miscarriages. The first two times we got pregnant within a few months. This time I am taking baby asprin and will be starting progesterone shortly after ovulation. (as per dr. recommendation) Did anyone else have to do this? Did you conceive quickly with a positive outcome or did it take some time? I am so nervous to start ttc again as I have the fear of another miscarriage. Positive responses please!

What can I do next?

With my first pregnancy, I had really low progesterone levels and was put on progesterone at 4 weeks. I swear it was what saved my pregnancy! I gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby boy 9 months later. This time around, I hought I would have to go instantly on prog pills, but my body got itself back in order and no pills (Im now 12 weeks and all looks good). Good luck- I know prog has been a lifesaver for a lot of women!

I totally understand why you are seeking success stories! Becoming a well informed self advocate is essential in your situation. During my last pregnancy I was given progesterone shots to prevent pre-term labor and it worked very well. Hopefully you trust your Dr and agree with the treatment but don't be afraid to get a second opinion!

I was misdiagnosed for many years and had many losses before finally having a successful pregnancy. I battled Drs and insurance companies and totally defied the odds! Sometimes we can't fix our fertility problems but there are so many things that we CAN do. I suggest that you focus on the positive and try yoga and meditation or exercise to combat the stress. Good Luck!

I am not sure what TTC is exactly, but I was high risk & put on baby aspirin after a miscarriage. I had a very good doctor that diagnosed me with Thrombophilia right after my miscarriage. Did you lose your babies right away?? That could be a sign of this (blood clotting disorder) They put me on Metformin & baby aspirin. I needed additional help afer I got pregnant so I have to inject blood thinners my whole pregnancy, but have a healty 21 month old now. I don't know where you live, my Dr is in Deer Park & he is EXCELLENT. I understand your anxiety. Email me if you need more info.

Slow down.....Put some space between now and trying again...give your body and mind a chance to heal...focus on other things that bring you joy, make you feel good. Work on inner peace....eat healthy and get involved in walking..do some exerceses.

It's not good for you to be trying again when you are in fear and having negative thoughts...

I had 3 healthy pregnancies - no problems and then had 3 miscarriages before having my son who is now almost 1. I finally used progesterone cream with the last pregnancy and everything turned out fine!! I always conceive quickly (even after each miscarriage) so that wasn't an issue for us. Hopefully this time will go well - don't stress about another miscarriage, it isn't healthy. Think positive!

After my first m/c I did exactly what you will be doing . I started the progesterone shortly after I ovulated and would go in for blood work to see if I was pregnant. It took about a year for me to get pregnant (many of those months I didn't try, just wanted to give my body a break)
I have a 6 yr old beautiful daughter now and couldn't be happier!

Find yourself a good Dr , one that really listens and cares! Good luck to you! I m so sorry about your previous m/c's.

I also TTC after 2 miscarriages and had issues with progesterone levels. It is a very scary time. My Dr. was going to have me do the baby asprine and progesterone but, by the time we were ready to try again I had stoppped ovulating regularly(which I now think was cause by stress over my fertility issues) so I started on clomid which helps ovulation and promotes progesteron levels and all other hormones levels to increase. This worked great it only took 2 or 3 months to concieve my son and everything went well, Dr did lots of blood work to make sure all levels were good, some even when it was to early to tell I was prego. We were told after my son that if we wanted to try again we could without any drugs or we could do the fertility drugs again. We wanted to get all of the help we could get so the second time I used the clomid again and it only took 2 months to concieve again. I think only people that have been thought something like this can understand how much of a loss a misscarriage is let alone 2. Only advice I realy have is try to relax, I know its impossable, and things have a way of working out. I wish you the best of luck. Good Luck
