I've just joined twitter & it's more of a quick 'hello'/ cath-up on others kind of thing. It's hard to have a conversation with someone on there. Have you looked into Plurk? I'm on there as well and like it because if someone posts a comment, I can comment on it & the conversation stays together. Then it alerts me when I have updated messages or new messages. So I can then click on that previous conversation & see what's new. You can invite friends, there is also a fan's group where people want to follow you but not necessarily communicate with you, kind of like testing the waters before they 'friend you'. Anyway, I don't explain it well but go to plurk.com and check it out. It's fun.
I am on face book and twitter. I like them both. I follow people on twitter but I don't post. I do post on face book. I like them both
I'm on Twitter but haven't got the hang of it yet...I was told that Facebook is a social network...and Twitter is more of a business social network. Business motivated me to join both of them - actually. Relationships are the best business builders - isn't that right?
Hi Amanda, I use twitter. I use it mostly for my home business, but do also use it some for updating with friends. Basically, it allows you to give brief updates on whatever it is you want to update to others. Your updates are limited to 140 characters. You can view what some of my updates look like if you like at http://twitter.com/BizForMoms Note that mine are mostly business related.
BTW - we go to Sacred Heart Cathedral and are very sad that FR. Jerry is leaving.
