Yes, about this age they cut the "canine" teeth or the eye teeth which are usually the hardest because it's said to upset their stomach when these teeth come in. I think my little one is doing the same thing, she's 21 months.
This may sound funny butI am a new mom so maybe not. Does anyone know if kids cut teeth at two years or are all thier teeth in by then? My son has been knawing at his fingers and is a little more cranky than usual. So I just thought as a wild guess that he might be cutting teeth. I stopped reading baby books when he turned a year so I am pretty much clueless on this part. LOL!!

Hi!! They absolutely do! I am a dental hygienist and a mom of three and their last "baby" teeth come in at around 2 years old. They are the very back teeth and their eruption can make them (& you!) miserable!! Hope that helps! :)
Two year molars are hard to get in feel in the back with your finger becareful he doesnt bite frozen bananas work well
2 year old Molars. They are rough and can take a while. Freeze a wet wash cloth and let him chew on that til it gets thawed. A few times a day should help keep the swelling down.
Good Luck

Yes, children do cut their 2 year molars about this time. Try using baby ambasol.
they get their 2 year molars in at the age of two. i have a 10 month old, a 3 year old, and a 5 year old. i went through that with all three. i am also 24 years old and had to learn most of what i know on my own. i hope i have helped.
They usually get molars. My 2 yo is getting teeth right now also.
E.,
My grand daughter is two on March 23rd and still does not have all of her teeth. The back ones are still coming in.

Your son probably is still cutting his teeth! My daughter is 21/2 now and she just recently got some more of her teeth.(molars) I don't think they are all the way in either because she is doing some of the same things, hands in mouth, drooling and more cranky at times. My friend's son is the same exact age as my daughter and he recently cut some molars in the last few weeks so it's possible! Good luck!
My daughter will be two in July and she still has teeth coming in so I would say yes it is possible to be teething at two ... we use the homeopathic teething tablets ... they work wonders and she has had no drama regarding her teeth.
It's been a long time for me too as I am a grandma now but it takes years for all their teeth to come in as the molars are the last and then as teens their wisdom teeth come in. So it is very possible he is teething again.Feel towards the back of his mouth with your finger and see if you feel something on his gum top or bottom
Kids cut 2 year molars. When they all come in, they should have 10 teeth on top and 10 teeth on bottom.
I am quite certain children get 2-year molars. These are the second set of molars. My son, never a thumb or finger sucker, starting putting his fingers in his mouth around the same age. It ended just as abrubtly.
Good luck.
My 2 1/2 year old son is doing the same thing. He chews on our jeans and on shirt collars. I offer him a cold gel teether and he takes it most of the time.
Yes - two year molars!
Painful!
My son is doing the same! OUCH!
Yes they do, you are not crazy. I am a dental hygienist and just to let you know that he should be cutting his molars. Look in the very back of his mouth, also all children cut teeth on their own time. Some books will give you an age range and that is all it is, an age range. Also, I don't know if you have taken him to the dentist yet, but it is never too early. Good luck and I hope this helps
My daughter was teething badly with some of her molars at 2 years. The reason I remember was because her baby brother had recently been born and it was a difficult time all around !!
So, he may very well be teething.
Hang in there,
L.
