Random, I know but my little girl is so tiny, just out of 18mo clothes & ready for big girl underwear. Any recommendations for brands that are small & have good elastic to keep them up...?

What can I do next?

Gerber does run small. Alternately just take in the waistband a little bit. It is no harder than sewing on a button. Just fold the elastic over and sew--the back or on each side works well. I do this on my daughter's pants all the time (she is also a slim 2T).

My DD is petite, too, and Gerber makes 2T that seem to be alright.

I bought my son (who is tiny) stuff on clearance at the Gap for 2T that was pretty tiny.

Gymboree carries better undies too. I don't like the ones you get at Target... the elastic wears out and is really thin. The Gap and Gymboree seem nicer, more comfortable.

Usually the smallest ones are on sale...

I did buy some Gerber ones too, but they were too big for my little guy.

The gerber training pants come in an 18 month size.
I bought some character 2T at Kohls that seem to be smaller.
Good luck, I got some carters 2t that she still can't wear, and she's 3!

Regular Hanes undies run smaller the Fruit of the Looms. They come in many characters but won't break the bank like Gap. My kids were all able to wear Hanes 2T when they were about 15-18 months old, and they were petite in size.
