Need an idea for an inexpensive idea for a 15 year old girl.

Nothing too girly (no stuffed animals), a bit creative and not expensive.

She's hard to buy for so I'm trying to think out of the box.

It needs to be a present and not a "time spent w/her kind of thing" as I will have to mail it out of town.
TIA

What can I do next?

Chocolate - oh, wait, that's what I would want.

My 15 yo girl would like spa stuff or art supplies.

What about a tea cup and a tea bag with an invitation to a make believe tea party? You and she can sit down at the same time and have a cuppa, even if you are miles away.

Movie pass (or Fandango or movie rental GC) and a bag of microwave popcorn.

Gift card. Even if it's 10 dollars she will love it more than a present.

Do a gift card to Amazon.com. I did that for my cousin who was turning 15 and she LOVED it! You can order almost anything from amazon.com, so it's not store specific or area specific.

Unless you know her likes and dislikes, it's hard. I've done iTunes gift cards (if they have an iPod) and I've done kindle gift cards too.

If you know her taste and she has a cell phone, you can buy her a cell phone wristlet. My other cousin loved the wristlet I bought for her. It held her cell phone and had a wallet and had a small band for her wrist. They make just wallet ones too. That's easy enough to package and mail--and who doesn't need another purse thingie?

So per my daughter who is 10:
A journal with blank pages. Or a diary.
Book stores have many. For ALL ages.
And with that, a gift card for a store that is in her city.

Girls I know, including my daughter, love journals.

A photo album

Or, a key chain for a cell phone. Ya know, those dangly things you attach to the cell phone to make it look cute. Even grown women, have those.
Nail Polish.
A purse.
Hair accessories

Or try Google Search "what do 15 year old girls like."

any piece of jewelry!

something to add to her "collections"....for my 16yo niece, it's Paris, nail stuff, & baking. For my other niece, it's hiking, perfume, & jewelry.

find out what she likes & encourage those interests!

I have a 15 year old girl....I would say sparkle nail polish...and the quick dry top coat would be my first choice as an inexpensive gift....then makeup from Sephora would be next....although that doesn't fit into the "inexpensive" category. Lots of good ideas listed...good luck

She'll be driving soon! This year (although she's only 12) I found a zebra striped tcu keychain. PERFECT! She loves zebra print and is obsessed with TCU college.

An Aero gift card, Khols, Target, etc. is always appreciated by teenagers as well. Or even amazon if she likes to download music.
