Have any of your husbands had this procedure done? We are having my husbands reversal over the summer. I am just curious about your experience! How long did it take you to conceive after having it done...how long after the vasectomy did he have it done?! We are at almost 5 years...but they say in the first 10 years it has like an 80-90% sucess rate (and we were very fertile before). Praying this works and we will be able to welcome another baby into our household!

we were about 7 years out from the vasectomy when we had it reversed. it took 6 months to conceive.
My father actually performs these on a weekly basis, with very high success rates. Many families have been able to conceive after a reversal is done. Good luck to you!!
I have some friends where the husband had it done like twelve yrs before and he had it reversed and they now have three babies! There was a bit of a wait between the first and second, but I don't think it took very long to conceive the first. They prayed a lot about it and have done just great :D Wish you the best!
I heard that it costs SO much more than the vasectomy itself... how much is such a procedure? We paid approx $1000.00 out of pocket (no insurance) to get the vasectomy done.
