Vbs

All the ones I've seen start at at least 3. We used to live in the Keller area, and the one at Messiah Lutheran is really good. I think the dates are in July some time. My son's gone there the last couple year. But we've moved now, so we're going to try one in Haslet as Messiah is a bit of a drive for us.

Our church- Altamesa Church of Christ- has VBS for all ages, even nursery for the babies less than 18 mo or 2 yrs (I can't remember the cut off); they just require parents stay on site due to safety regulations and they do have adult class offerings so you can have something to do. Or, if you were concerned about leaving your 14mo. old with special needs, you could possibly stay with him during that time so he can enjoy some of the stuff too. Our VBS is very different, and very fun (Richland Hills does a similar program now, because their chilren's minister came from our church). We have one hour of traditional VBS class time - craft, story time, snack, etc., and the last hour is a musical production that tells the story they learned that night- it's an originally written production with song and dance and enjoyable for adults as well as kids (again, the kids sit with their parents during this time). This year is the story of David and Goliath, it's really fun. It runs from 7-9pm on June 22-24th. And, to top it off, every child gets a free t-shirt that is autographed by the musical cast and later in the summer all visitors will receive a gift pack that includes a video of the musical production. Hope you can make it, I know it's hard to make a drive when it's late at night for small kids, but I know your 2 year old would have a blast. Oh, yeah, and don't worry, it's free of charge!

We are having VBS June16th-20th @ 9:00am-12:00pm. Our Church is The Bethel Methodist Church of Southlake. We are located at 190 S. White Chapel Rd. Across from the big United Methodist Church. We have a pre-k class. So since your daughter is two and a half she is more than welcome to attend. My daughter is three and she will be in that class. Hope to see you there.

I have a big list of VBS's and the youngest they will take is 3, one of them is a fully potty-trained 3. This is the first year I have been able to leave all 4 of my kids. What a blessing!!! You may just have to wait one more summer. Gateway is a fantastic church, we actually go there, but we have never attended Wacky Week just because of the driving distance and gas prices.

G., I believe Richland Hills Church of Christ (non-denominational church) has no age limits. Starts next week, although it is evenings - not sure how that affects bedtime! :)

I think Messiah Lutheran in Keller starts VBS for two year olds -- but I'm not certain. The number is ###-###-####.

I know they have an Early Childhood Class during the school year for 2-year olds.
