Hi.
I have a home based business and I am interested in promoting myself at fairs/events. I am looking for information about upcoming vendor type events; like the festivals you see around town. I would like to know how to find upcoming events and how to sign up to participate in them.

Second Annual Tampa-South & Palma Ceia MOMS Clubs Holiday Bazaar to be held on November 20, 2008 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Port Tampa Recreation Center -- 4701 Lancaster Avenue, Tampa, FL 33611
Vendor setup will start at 8:15 and cleanup will be concluded by 12:45. Vendor fees are $15 for the event.

KCC (Kid's Community College) has a fair every year to support the school. I know they have vendors there all the time so you may want to check into that. You can call the school and see if it's something you can do. They might charge a booth fee.

I am also interested in this type of venue. I have heard of other towns setting up their own vendor fair for small local biz and direct selling reps for Avon, Tupperware, Longenberger, Pampered Chef, etc. all in one locale (i.e. American Legion, etc.). I would love to participate in something like this...maybe we should set up one!
