I have found the Butt Paste works wonders! My daughter has very sensitive skin and by applying this everyday it has kept her bottom free of rashes.
Dear mamas, here I am with another question... My boy has a diaper rash pretty red and swollen. The doctor recommended a medication called VUSION, has any of you mamas tried it before? If you did can you please let me know your opinion?! THANKS!
Dear Mamas,
Thank you so much for your input. I used the cream last night on my son and I already saw some amazing improvements. I found great info on other ointments at http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/t081400.asp But if you do go for the Vusion go on their website for a $25 coupon (this cream is extremely expensive). Also, I am leaving him without his diapers for brief periods during the day so the rash can dry it up. Next time (hope there wont be one) I will try the triple paste it seems less aggressive and efficient. As for the corn starch I dried but I guess was too severe for that.
Thank you all again for your support!!!!!

Good stuff. Expensive, at least for us it was with our ins. But it cleared up the rash quickly.

I don't know if you've tried this yet but breast milk or coconut oil is very effective. My niece had been on 3 different steroids for diaper rash for 3 weeks and it wasn't helping. I put coconut oil on her a few times with a couple of hours and it started going away. Both have medium-chain fatty acids that are very soothing.
Triple paste has always cleared it up for my girls. It is a little bit more expensive than some others but, just a small amount does the trick.
Best ointment ever! My son was on "Vusion" numerous times, due to severe diaper rash. This ointment has been a blessing. It is the best medicated ointment out there. Good luck~
I've never heard of it. My kids would sometimes get nasty, red, blistered rashes when they ate certain foods. I used Aveeno diaper rash cream with oatmeal and it helped a lot.
Hi, I have not but had great luck with Nystatin powder. Not the cream but the powder. Anyone I have reccommended it to had great success when nothing else helped. Not all insurances cover it & it is somewhat costly but definitely worth it! Good luck.
Don't know about the cream but try some regular cornstarch Promise it works
I'm adult using this Amazing Cream, skin folds, under breasts, between legs etc. wherever moisture is not exposed to air. OVER night notice of improvement with VUSION. Used OTHER "antifungals" and made my condition MUCH worse. VUSION is the BEST product on the market.
I also used the vusion coupon and save $45.

Vusion is for yeast infections and I did use it on my little boy when he was appx 18 mths. Worked like a charm and the infection was gone in three days.
Just my opinion. I think that the old ways are better and less medication in a child's life is better. The old way of taking care of this is to let the child stay bare bottom in a play pin or sleeping and let the air heal the rash also using corn starch instead of power will help also.
works great... to make it stretch since it is expensive.. I put a thin layer on and cover with vaseline.. it also protects the bum from moisture too... good luck!!! God Bless!!
