I have a pair of Spanx that has a slit in the crotch. It's a life saver! This is probably TMI, LOL, but I just don't wear undies and then it's waaaaay easier to go to the bathroom and I don't have to peel the darn thing down.
Oh fun subject.....lol. I'm looking at maybe buying some waist shape wear. Not probably a full on waist trainer thing (whatever that is?). Just something to hold my mommy pouch and smooth some bumps. I've got a pair of spanx that I like, but I don't like getting into them and in/out of them to go to bathroom! it's a pain. I'm about a size 16/18 and tend to gain in my tummy, so I'm apple shape I guess I've found from online research. Do you ladies have any recommendations??? I'm looking at one from Lane Bryant currently, but it's only sold online! Thank you!!!
Good point, maybe mine is super strength. I love it when it's on, but it's such a pain I only wear to weddings and stuff lol.

A waist trainer is above the lower abdominal area and tightening on the waist will push the lower area out.
Sounds like a girdle is what you're looking for.
There are many different models out there.
I get mine at Kohls - I have Spanx brand and a few others like Vanity Fair and tend to purchase when it is BOGO and I have a 30% off. If it is too difficult to get in and out of, it could be an incorrect size. Also, I look for "everyday wear" for the ones I wear daily and "super strength" (probably not the real name, but that is what I call them) for evening wear/certain clothing items. The "super strength" are definitely harder to get in/out of, which is why I don't do them daily :)
Different from what you are talking about but I found a spanx type tank top.it is long enough to cover my tummy and smooth things out....that might be a more manageable support
i got the first pretty tummy-holding undies i've ever found from Bare Necessities. i'm going to order more. they help hold in my flub, and are actually nice looking and don't roll! (i HATE it when underwear rolls!)
a little pricey, but worth it. and not as much as SOMA or spanx.

Loo for a body suit. They look like a one piece swim suit and have hook and eye closures in the crotch area. Much easier to put on and go potty and slims down the tummy and love handles.
I don't really have any recommendations...but if you're prone to migraines...I have to let you know that all of those shape wear garments trigger my migraines. I guess it must cut off circulation or increase the pressure up to my head.
