Does anyone know where one would find the waiver to fill out prior to giving birth to waive the antibiotic wipes and possibly the vitamin K? i have been on Michigan.gov but it is a mess and i could not find anything there. Anyone have any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I work at Crittenton and we just have the moms sign a refusal to consent form. You just need to tell them when you go in to have your baby. It is your choice, so they can't go against your wishes. You don't need to have anything filled out prior.

My daughter and son-in-law had this issue, it was in St. Louis. I believe they took care of it with the pediatrician BEFORE the baby arrived. It was a battle, but they stood their ground and were able to avoid the issue.

You should discuss it with your OB. The hospital should provide you the forms...your OB should be able to get them ahead of time.

You can also discuss the issues with your selected ped ahead of your birth.
