Yes, as Michelle S. said, let her walk barefoot in the house.
BUT, "Robeez" are real great... that is what so many Moms use, when my kids were babies and at that phase of walking. Our Pediatrician also recommended that... a "soft" shoe... not a hard soled/sided shoe to begin with. Their feet have to still develop and grow too, and them getting used to walking and "feeling" the ground, which hard soled shoes do not allow for.
Both my kids grew up in Robeez, until when they were about 2 years old. We used it outdoors, rain or shine. And you can even "wash" Robeez, by putting it in a lingerie bag in the wash and hang to dry... or spot clean. That's what I did. And indoors, here where I live, everyone is barefoot, sans shoes.
There is also the brand "See Kai Run"... which is similar ...but have stiffer soles. Maybe for when she is older.
And yes, as Riley said, StrideRite is also a great shoe, for toddlers.
If you go to: www.amazon.com you can see the "reviews" there of all 3 brands.
All the best,
Susan
