You can use both PowerPoint and Movie Maker. If you do not have Movie Maker, it is free on microsoft's website. It is real easy to use. Movie Maker is easier to use when adding music than PowerPoint.
After a recent mission trip, I want to create a video slideshow with music in the background. Are there any websites or programs that will help me put this together?
I am not at all technologically saavy. I have only been able to put together a very simple slideshow using Powerpoint. Is there anyway I can now put music to it or should I scratch that and use something different?
Thanks in advance!

A program called Photoshow-- it is great.
if you are on a PC, Sony makes a Movie Maker or Power Point. On a mac just use I Movie. its easy.
Windows MovieMaker can help you with videos. It comes with XP. Microsfot Plus! Photo Story 2 might help. I don't know whether it comes with XP or if it was part of the system I bought. You can also use Powerpoint to create slideshows to music.
Try powerpoint.. it gives you the option to add music

I haven't used it because I am a Mac user, but my friend used it and created a cool video with music.
Have fun!
Short videos (30 seconds) are free, or you can pay for a full length video. I have only tried the short version, but it is really simple if you already have the music and photos on your computer.
