Washing Bottle Nipple Bottles and Rings with Diluted Bleach?

Idont' think a few drops of bleach diluted in bowl of water will be too harmful but I also suggest tossing all bottles & nipples that smell &/or taste like bleach. When my kids were on the bottle, I replaced all nipples every 3 months. I did this cuz, I didn't ( & still don't!) have a dish washer so I worried they weren't getting clean enough but I also read they needed to be replaced every 3 months. Plus, up to a certain point, they move onto the next stage of nipples due oto their age. How many times a day does your daughter take a bottle? Only for milk or for all liquid intake? Does she drink out of a sippy cup at all? This could be the right time to ditch bottles all together & move onto a big girl sippy cup.

Bleach is a toxic chemical. Do NOT give your daughter the nipples. You're going to have to purchase new ones. There is a product called Bac-Out sold at whole foods and other health food stores. I use it on my floors, laundry, fridge... etc... it's a great product and made with lime extracts.

Baking soda and hot water does a good job. I have a thermos that I use for coffee with cream and it tends to get that spoiled milk smell. I wash it with soap and water then soak it in baking soda and water for a while and rinse. Seems to work. I probably wouldn't keep them if they smelled like bleach. I hope this helps.

Never use bleach- it is so toxic. You can use white distilled Vinegar as well instead. You need to buy new bottles.
I do know the feeling though, because we have had this happen as well.
