Ways to Make Money Online

I work part time, 24 hours per week. I don't mind my job and plan to come back after baby #3 is born. I would like to contribute more money to the household (mainly because I don't make enough and so I don't hear my husband complain about money). I am a Shaklee Independent Distributor, but a lot of people around my area are not interested due to the fact that money is tight and some of the vitamins/supplements there are a little pricey. They work great, but people just cannot afford it.

Are there any jobs online that are not scams where you can make extra money per month?

Let me hear your thoughts or experiences.

What can I do next?

This isn't a whole lot, but it's not a scam & it's free. I love Swag Bucks!!

You do different things online to earn swag bucks. Then use those swag bucks to redeem rewards. The best reward is the Amazon gift cards.

The main thing is winning on random searches with their search engine. Then there is their Swag Bucks TV - short videos. Plus little daily things like a daily poll & using their toolbar. Surveys, codes, special offers, etc.

You can do as much or as little as you want. I've earned over $100 with mine. A friend of mine just recently used her Amazon gift cards to get a $300 TV!

Good luck!

I work from home for a loan company. I also know that many debt settlement and credit counseling agencies allow their agents to work from home. Jet Blue and other airline companies hire people to take reservations telephone calls from home. My cousin processed insurance claims from home. You could also look into medical transcription. Keep in mind that many of those jobs will have set hours and you may be required to be on the telephone most of the time. Working from home can be a blessing but it is also very difficult in other ways. It is really easy to get bored, and it can be hard to focus when you can see all the things that need to be done around the house! I have had a few difficult moments where I have been on a work phone call and the doorbell has been ringing and my cellphone going off all at the same time! I also have a 3 year old and while I am grateful to not have to take her to daycare, it is hard to tell her "I can't read to you right now, I am working". She watches a bit more tv than I would prefer. My mom did medical transcription from home for a very long time and has actually been much happier in an office environment. She had a hard time with all the distractions, had a hard time with overeating since the kitchen was right there next to her office, and also she did medical transcription and if you are not typing fast enough they often will dock your pay. So there are definitely some difficulties to consider. Good luck!

I do surveys through a few companies and also pay-to-read emails. On one of the pay-to-read email sites, they also have a game section where I can earn a little money playing games each day. I don't earn a whole lot, but about $60 a month or so between them. If you (or anyone) wants the link just holler.

Not really. Most things you find are MLM and direct selling which involve recruiting, selling, etc.. BLAH. The people in my area are sick of all the promos moms are doing trying to sign people up, sell us what we don't need.

Get creative and think outside the box. What are you GOOD at and what do YOU like to do?

I have an accounting assistant who works with me from her home. We might meet about once every 3 months or so. She is a whiz on Quickbooks so she is my tutor. SHe has dramatically helped me become more efficient in running our company.

Check into temporary companies as well.

Good luck!

I sell my unused and unwanted items on Craigslist and ebay. I just sold my husband's mitre saw for $50....I've made almost $600 in the last 45 days selling stuff we aren't using anymore (this doesn't include their fees or paypal fees (for ebay) but it's still nice to have extra!!) You get to declutter your home and make money at it!!

Depending upon what you do - you can work from home for several companies - go to Craigslist and select your field and then ensure you check "telecommuting" - if you have to pay for the position or information - it's fraud. that's the bottom line....

There are other jobs I did at first - I worked as a secret shopper for Safeway for almost 2 years. It's fun - but it can get costly.
