My son is 1 - he is still drinking 15-20 ounces of formula right now. From a bottle. How do you switch over to whole cow's milk? What's the best method here mamas? TIA!

What can I do next?

half formula half cow's milk

week later, 3/4 milk, 1/4 formula

week later no more formula - throw it out or give to a needy mom.

same goes for water... dilute milk more and more until just water.

Try to give him some whole milk, if he goes for it, fine. If not, do the half and half thing for a while.

I always started by mixing half milk and half formula for a while, then slowly phase out the formula altogether. I think the process took a couple of weeks.

He can still drink the Formula until he transitions to whole milk.
Either by gradual methods, or just try giving him milk and see how he likes it.

I can tell you that pooh does not bother me, changing diapers, cleaning up accidents, etc...does not bother me. The only time I puked each and every time I entered the room with a poopy diaper in it was when the child was not transitioned from formula buy gradually adding milk to the formula over a period of time. Her poop turned white and stank so bad I could not even hardly be in the same building as her.

Start out by adding 2 oz. of milk to 6 oz. of formula. Then after a few days of that, where he is taking it and liking it go to half whole milk and half formula. Once he is doing that well and is drinking it then go to 2 oz. formula to 6 oz. whole milk. Once he is drinking that with no issues go full whole milk.
