Here are some ideas for fun, healthy foods:
1. Slice a banana in half length-wise. Spread peanut butter on it, and sprinkle raisins or craisins on it. We call it "Ants on a Log", and my kids love it. Just please don't tell them it's (gasp) healthy.
2. Use a large cookie cutter to cut sandwiches in fun shapes. It's a fun way to cut the crust off.
3. Cut up canteloupe or strawberries (or whatever your daughter likes), cover with vanilla yogurt (we like Dannon Light & Fit), and sprinkle with granola. Call it a sundae. Even if you have to drizzle a little Nestle Quik on top, it's still worth it.
4. Make homemade pizza together. Kids love to eat what they make, and you can put some fairly healthy toppings on pizza, if you're creative.
5. Apple slices with peanut butter. Kids love to dip.
6. I think Pampered Chef has a kids cookbook, and I'm sure it's fabulous.
7. Try allrecipes.com or bettycrocker.com for other good recipes for kids.
I hope this helps. I can't wait to read the other responses to get some good ideas for myself!
