I am looking for a registered daycare/playcare for my twin boys on weekends for 3-4 hours in Plano which would allow us to run errands while the boys are in safe hands. Please advise.

Check out Kiddin Around in Plano across from Willow Bend Mall. My two girls go to the Highland Village location and absolutely love it. They actually ask to go there!
My 4 year old has been going to Adventure Kids at Park and Preston for a couple of years. She LOVES it and asks to go there every time we drive by it. :)
I was going to suggest Adventure Kids as well. We used it when moving here and looking for a house, and again after we moved when we had movers in the house, etc. My boys (ages 7 and 4 now) love it there and actually ask to go play.
Moms Best Friend Agency has excellent sitters. They go through a lot of training and they bring activity bags filled with fun goodies. The agency has on-going background checks on all their employees for added safety.
I like Noah's Daycare on McDerrmot and 75, behind Stacys. My son loves it there. I love that I can drop him off for a couple hours for me time.
Look on craigslist. There are MANY registered babysitters and in-home daycare providers listed and you can sort them by your city (just click "childcare" under the "community" area, then type in the name of your city in the search box. I noticed that there are many people who advertise nights/weekends and part-time rates. Good luck!
