Hello does anyone know what the average cost of either one of these programs cost? Or know of any others?
i was on jenny craig for a while & food ran about $100.00 per week, i did loose about 30lbs in about 3 months.
I just joined LA weightloss (after my friend lost 20lbs for her wedding), its my third week and seven lbs lighter. You can still eat and stuff, and you eat regular stuff, chicken, steak, veggies from the grocery store, not prepackaged. It seems to be really easy...so far, although its rather expensive... you are required to buy "lites" every week for 28 dollars.. and start up for me was 517.00 that includes my 26 week weight loss program, im not sure how many weeks stablization, and 52 weeks maintenance to keep the weight off--they take payments. I hear a lot of bad things about them because of their price, but they teach you to eat correctly for over a year, and its real food that you buy and already have at home, not prepackaged food, i worried about the prepackaged thing with Jenny Craig--what happens when you get off the diet? Just make sure you ask lots of questions!!
Hi, Weight Watchers is $5 a month online and $11 or $12 a month going to meetings. I have found WW to be very excellent and have lost 13 pounds so far....12 weeks on! You lose anywhere from 1-3 pounds a week depending if you stay on the plan or go over(eat too much)...however, going over doesn't put weight on...it maintains it....as long as you don't go too over(like totally pig out everyday)!!

I too just joined La Weightloss and I have lost only 1 pound since I started 3 weeks ago. They told me that I didnt have to buy any of their products to loose the weight but nnow that I have only lost one pound, they keep bringing up the fact that I do not buy their lite bars. My momm lost 35 pounds on jenny and cousin has lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. It is expensive though so be careful. I actually wish I would have looked into a nutritionist instead. Good luck!
