Just because fruits are "free" on the new program, it does not mean that they are "unlimited"! My WW leader said to keep them to no more than 5-6 servings a day. One of my WW friends was flabbergasted to discover that all the bananas she ate last week actually caused her to gain weight. As in anything else, moderation is the key. The new plan nudges you to eat more protein than the previous plan, and encourages you to make better choices when it comes to using your daily points. I have found the new plan to be a bit of an adjustment, just because most of the points values for foods I regularly eat have changed, so I can't just add them in my head anymore. That being said, I think it's a more well-rounded plan overall, and I'm finding it easier to stick to because I feel like I'm getting more food than before. The only way to lose weight and keep it off is to eat less and move more, which is and always has been the mantra of WW. It's a good plan, and seems to work well for most people. Good Luck!
