It could be a bladder infection instead of a UTI. I had one several years ago and the cramps were not horrible but they were there. I had to take antibiotics for a while and no problems since.
I've had this crampy feeling for about 5 days... not like period cramps. I'm wondering if it's my bladder. Even if it's a little full, it's uncomfortable. Today I woke up and it's the worst it's been. It doesn't hurt to pee, there's no blood in my urine, but it's definately not like period cramps. It's not even VERY crampy, just mostly very uncomfortable (and not like a UTI).
Any ideas??
My kidneys don't hurt at all, and yes I've been drinking copious amounts of water (that's all I ever drink after my morning coffee)...
Really scratching my head on this one!
@ Lee, OR you're preggers ;) LOL...

Oh honey - I'm SOOOOOOOOO sorry!!!!! You've been under sooo much stress lately....
It's TOTALLY possible that its a UTI - with all the stress you've been under lately - wedding in 16 days, parents arguing over the small stuff and not going where you wanted to go for Memorial Day weekend.....
Drink some cranberry juice - if that doesn't help - then make an appointment with the Dr....even though it's your bladder - it might be a kidney infection - which directly affects the bladder....and not all the time does blood get in the urine.....
I have been crampy for a couple days too... but mine materialized into diarrhea. A few other family members have had the same thing. I guess something's going around, but doesn't sound like the same thing as you have...
Got to the doctor. I have had an inflamed bladder as well as other types of infections (not UTI but similar) all of which required antibiotics. Drinking water wasn't part of my issue either.
***Try some cranberry juice too, it coates the bladder. Hope you feel better!
This is funny because I think I had the same problem not too long ago, it just went away on its own and I thought nothing more of it. But all your symptoms are identical. I'm curious what anyone else thinks of it.
Based on your other post today, I think it's stress. Blame your parents.
Bladder spasms?
Stress?
Are you fatigued, joint sore, or headaches?
Take a dose of alka seltzer, plop plop fizz fizz.
It could be a vaginal infection/irritation. Best to check with your Doctor.
I agree w/other moms. You should go in and get a urinalysis. You may not see blood when you pee, but it could still be there. They can also do a culture on the urine and at least make sure it's not an infection. It could very well be a kidney stone that has passed (so your kidneys won't hurt) but is rattling around in your bladder until you finally pee it out. Lots of water helps for sure. Try some cranberry juice cocktail to acid up your urine too. Helps w/UTI, etc. and is always good for you. If you hate cranberry taste, they always have pills... Good luck!
kidneys?? Have you been drinking enough water?
