What Are These Little Bumps on My Arm??

Looking for a bit of insight... I have these small bumps on my arm below my elbow and between my wrists (mainly on the outer part of my arm - only really came about a few months ago). Some are small red bumps and others I can't see but feel. It looks like something with the hair follicles or pores in the skin. It doesn't itch or anything but it's just bothering me that it's there. I also have a few little bumps on my upper arm and my thigh. I don't know what to even type into google to see what it could be. Any suggestions?

EDIT: Let me reiterate that it doesn't itch at all. My son has eczema and he itches like mad. Unless there is a form of eczema that doesn't itch at all...

What can I do next?

It could be Keratosis Polaris (Chicken skin) I have this only on my upper arms, but my daughter has it on her upper, lower, and her calves. Try looking it up to see if you have this. There are different levels of it. Mine do not bother me at all except for sometimes being able to see them and having rough sandpaper arms, but my daughters can get down right painful if her skin is dry.

I have it too and it doesn't hurt but does itch - it just annoys me. I read somewhere that there are several things that work, but that someone suggested using T-Sal shampoo with a bath glove and a think lotion. I've been doing that daily, and although I can still see it, it's not as bright as it was and doesn't itch at all. I'm hoping the summer will be better when I get some color on my arms. Mine just appeared about 2 years ago - not sure why, but i've been self conscious about it ever since.

Well because we are dealing with molluscum in this house right now I would say to rule that out so you don't spread it if it is....

I agree with the answers below and would also add, do you have any type of allergies? When my son was younger and had childhood Asthma, he would get these tiny white bumps, his doctor said they are from the Asthma.. which I had no idea could manifest itself on the skin...

Sounds like Keratosis Pilaris. A common skin disorder, typified by "chicken skin" bumps on upper arms, thighs, torso, buttocks and occasionally the cheeks. Excess skin forms around individual hair follicles, creating the characteristic minute, rough, grater-like bumps. You might want to try googling that. I know there is a cream called K P Duty (from Sephora) that really helps. =)

I also think it sounds like KP. I have it on the back of my arms. In the summer it isn't as bad because I wear short sleeves and my arms are exposed to the sun. I don't lay out nor am I an outdoor person so it is only when I am going somewhere in the car.

I started taking one flax seed oil pill a day. I should take one twice a day but never remember to in the evening. The KP on my arms has improved greatly. It isn't as bumpy and dry feeling. Now if I could just remember to take the flax seed twice a day, it might disappear.

I wonder if it is keratosis pilaris. Google that to see if it matches.
